REET Exam 2020: Big change in REIT recruitment exam, now these will be standard for selection, read full details

REET Exam 2020: Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) has been announced. The examination will be conducted on 25 April 2021. A major change has been made regarding the selection process of Reet recruitment. The state government has now given relief to the candidates in weightage of marks. In the final selection of Reat, where 90 percent will be the basis of the marks in the examination, the basis of graduation marks has been reduced to 10 percent. Earlier, in the final selection, selection was done on the basis of 70 per cent marks in REIT examination and 30 per cent marks in graduation.

Revision of weightage and question paper
The weightage system has been changed by the Rajasthan government. Earlier, the ratio of marks of Reit and Graduates was kept at 70 and 30, which is now being changed to 90 and 10. Following the guidelines of NCTE, instructions have also been given to add questions of geography and art culture of Rajasthan. Adding general knowledge of Rajasthan to the examination will give maximum benefit to the candidates.

REET Exam 2020 Notification
It is believed that a notification can be issued by the Rajasthan board at the end of this month or in the first week of January, regarding the RIT exam. The REIT exam will be held in April, after which the results will be announced. After the result of Reit, the education department will appoint 31000 teachers across the state. The validity of the eligibility certificate of Reit will be 3 years.
