Job Summary/Basic Function
Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position (114030) at the rank of assistant professor in our Department of Information Systems and Analytics. Start date for the position is August 1, 2021. Position contingent upon funding.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach within the area of information systems and analytics at the undergraduate and graduate level. The areas of interest (preferred but not limited to) include business analytics, big date, and information systems.
Candidates must demonstrate research and scholarly activity in information systems.
Terminal degree in Information Systems or closely related field from an AACSB accredited school. ABD close to completion considered. Candidate may be hired with the ABD with the understanding the degree completion will take place no later than one year from date of hire.
