JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering invites applications for one or more non-tenure track teaching faculty positions. The positions will be filled at the Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor rank depending on qualifications. Duties will include undergraduate teaching, committee duties and helping to assess learning outcomes in courses. Required areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, Introductory and Intermediate Programming in Python, Systems Programming (Unix), and C Programming.
Candidates must have at least an MS degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Preference may be given to candidates who hold a PhD degree or have previously taught Computer Science classes. This is a fixed-term appointment initially funded for three years with the possibility of renewal. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until all positions are filled.
