Director of ERP Systems Innovation & Development

Responsible for leading projects to create improved operational support systems and reporting.

Work with a goal of improving
support system effectiveness, internal processes, and customer satisfaction. Primarily work with the areas of Registrar, Financial Aid,
Admissions, Business Office, Student Services, and Academic areas to improve system capabilities, performance, accuracy and accessibility of
information, system processes, customer interfaces, coordination of activities between offices, and reporting for internal and external
purposes. Serve as the primary interface with Jenzabar and the TC3 Consortium with regard to all matters concerning the effective and
efficient utilization of the Jenzabar J1/JICS ERP system. Has broad authority to work across the organization to realize the full
capabilities of the ERP system.

Develop and disseminate effective training materials:

Develop training materials in
written, electronic, and video formats to assist system users and customers in the effective use of the J1/JICS ERP system.

Develop skills to meet the challenges ahead:

Attend or otherwise take advantage of training opportunities to improve skills
related to the performance of these job responsibilities. Personal development, training and travel costs, as needed, are provided for this
position by Kilgore College.

Minimum Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Formal
    training and experience in MIS/CIS
  • Knowledge and experience with Jenzabar J1/JICS ERP system and related databases
  • Advanced
    communication and writing skills
  • Ability to assess critical needs and translate these to plans of implementation
  • Ability and
    experience with system documentation and end user instructions
  • Experience in training system users

Physical Demands and Work

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • No or very limited
    physical effort required; however, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Salary & Fringe Benefits

Salary will be
commensurate with education and work experience. Health, life, and income protection insurance are provided. An excellent retirement program
through the Teacher Retirement System or Optional Retirement Program (ORP). Generous paid leave time are also furnished. In addition, full
time employees have free use of the college’s recreational/fitness facilities and tuition scholarships are available for the employee
