The Brandeis School of Law invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions for the Spring 2021 semester (roughly January 7 to April 19). Review of applications will begin upon receipt and continue until the positions are filled. Interested candidates should include in their application a resume or curriculum vitae and a cover letter or expression of interest. Applications should be addressed to Dean Lars Smith, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
PTL’s will be hired to teach various doctrinal and/or experiential skills courses, including the following topical areas:
- Dispute Resolution
- National Security Law
- Bankruptcy Law
- Trial Practice
- Immigration Law
- Counseling Clients in Spanish
- Advanced Legal Research
- Bar Exam Skills
- Juvenile Justice
A J.D. degree, practice experience and demonstrated expertise in the field are required. Prior teaching experience, particularly as an adjunct professor at the law school, is preferred, although it is not a requirement.
