The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at The University of Arizona invites applications for a part time, non-tenure eligible faculty position at the rank of Adjunct Lecturer to begin January 2021. Duties & Responsibilities

The department has teaching needs in a variety of courses including introductory and intermediate computer programming (C, C++,Java), digital design, basic circuits, electronic circuits, device electronics, microprocessors, embedded systems, signals and systems, electromagnetics, signal processing, communications, etc. Our most immediate need is in a graduate course in software defined radio. The candidate is expected to teach a subset of these courses. The ECE department is in the process of developing a fully online BS program. Therefore, the successful candidate may also be required to develop online courses and teach online.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in electrical/computer engineering or a related field, with a record of experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

Successful candidates should have a strong commitment to engineering education and are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching and curricular development.
