Job
Summary:

This position requires taking student drivers out on the street to learn the basics of driving a
tractor/trailer with 10 speed transmission.

***This position also requires successful completion of a DOT Physical and Drug Test
prior to start of assignment.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • CDL Class
    “A”.
  • Three (3) years driving experience on a tractor/trailer with manual transmission.
  • No moving violations within the
    past three (3) years.
  • Safe driving habits a must.
  • Applicants must successfully complete a DOT physical and pre-employment
    drug screen

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • CDL Class “A”.
  • Three
    (3) years driving experience on a tractor/trailer with manual transmission.
  • No moving violations within the past three (3)
    years.
  • Haz/mat, doubles endorsement.
  • Experience with student truck driving instruction.
  • Safe driving habits a
    must.

Essential Duties:

  • This position requires taking student drivers out on the
    street to learn the basics of driving a tractor/trailer with 10 speed transmission.
  • Maintaining patience with the student and
    constantly being aware of your surroundings are essential to developing safe and successful drivers.
  • Safety is our most important
    goal.

Sedentary (up to 10 lbs occasionally, sitting most of the time)
