Assistant/Associate Professor of Health Science

Limestone University invites applications for the 9-month tenure-track position Assistant/Associate Professor of Health Science starting
August 2021.

In support of Limestone University’s and Health Science Program’s mission, the primary responsibilities
of this position will include serving as Coordinator of the Health Science Major; teaching undergraduate courses across all platforms in the
areas that could include healthcare ethics, research methods and epidemiology, public health, microbiology for health sciences, health
education program planning and evaluation, and capstone courses; and the development of new courses and pathways to enhance the Health
Science degree options.

This faculty member will work collegially with other department directors and faculty members; will be
responsible for program assessment data and reporting; will serve as academic advisor to health science students; and will assist with the
online implementation of the program.


  • An earned doctorate in health science or related
  • Specifically, interested in individuals who are able to teach the courses identified in the position summary.
  • Previous college or university teaching experience in face-to-face and online environments is preferred.
