ACCOUNTING: The Accounting Department in the Stonecipher School of Business at East Central
University (ECU) invites applications for a full-time position (tenure track) in Accounting with rank negotiable. The Accounting Department
offers an undergraduate program and a master’s program plus certificates in managerial accounting and treasury management.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will teach
undergraduate and graduate courses. Non-teaching duties include departmental and university committee assignments and student advising. A
commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarly activity and professional service is expected. Successful candidates will have the potential
to collaborate with students and faculty across disciplines and become involved with the local business community, student
internships/research, and a high-performing chapter of NASBA, Student Center for the Public Trust. Additional academic service includes
supporting the enhancement of the visibility of the accounting program by conducting cross-disciplinary and community programs promoting the
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess one of the following: (1) a Ph.D. or DBA in Accounting,
(2) a doctorate degree in Finance or a related discipline with at least one professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA), (3)
a JD with at least one professional accounting certification, or (4) a master degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline with at
least one professional accounting certification. Candidates with previous university teaching experience in tax or equivalent professional
experience are preferred.
Applicants with experience using instructional technology (internet, instructional software, and
Blackboard) and possess the ability to teach in traditional, blended, and online environments are preferred.
