The College of Business and Administration at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is currently seeking applicants for a
tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor position in Finance starting in August 2021.
Our specific instructional needs
are in the areas of investments and case studies in finance. In addition, there may be a need in the future for the instruction of money and
banking classes. Classes in other areas will be assigned as needed and efforts will be made to find opportunities for the candidate to teach
in his/her special areas of expertise. Examples of potential classes in other areas of finance are corporate finance, international finance,
financial modeling, securities valuation, and personal financial planning.
The successful candidate should be devoted to teaching
excellence at the graduate and undergraduate level, committed to high-quality scholarly research, and interested in pursuing community
involvement. Cross-disciplinary research is respected and encouraged. This position will require on-going scholarship sufficient to achieve
and maintain AACSB “Scholarly Academic” status.

- An earned doctorate (or ABD) in finance or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited business
school. ABD applicants must have completed all doctoral course requirements and qualifying exams and must persuasively demonstrate that
all degree requirements will be completed before the start of the Fall 2021 semester.
- Prior and relevant teaching experience in investments, cases in finance, or another closely related field at the university
- Experience in teaching online classes.
- Relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience
interacting with local finance and business professionals.
