The AACSB accredited College of Business at Louisiana State University Shreveport seeks
applications for renewable, non-tenure-track positions from versatile, qualified scholars at the rank of Instructor to begin in January of
2021. These are new positions with dedicated funding resulting from strong and persistent growth in the College of Business enrollment.
These positions will report to one of the four Department Chairs in the College of Business. Applications will be considered from all
business disciplines for individuals who meet our AACSB qualifications to teach in one of the College of Business degree areas. Preference
will be given to qualified applicants who can teach/research in multiple areas aligning with our degree programs, areas of specializations,
and areas of concentrations.
Requirements: Applicants must have a terminal degree, be ABD, or have a Master
level degree in a business discipline from an institution with an AACSB accredited business program. Candidates with degrees from
universities which do not hold AACSB accreditation will not be considered. The selected applicants will be expected to teach face-to-face
classes on the Shreveport campus and/or online. Selected candidates will teach undergraduate courses, and depending on qualifications and
experience may teach at the graduate level. Candidates will be expected to produce scholarship consistent with our AACSB Scholarly Academic
standards for a faculty member at the instructor level.
