The UCCS Cybersecurity Senior Project Coordinator will be expected to support organizational
effectiveness by managing operational functions of finance, accounting, contracts, human resources, IT. The Project Coordinator will focus
on continual process and operations improvements, compliance, documenting and reporting Cybersecurity Initiative (CSI) fund expenditures,
and developing and monitoring the use of resources. The Project Coordinator will also create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), track and
report processes and tools, and document information flows. The Project Coordinator, in coordination with the director, will develop and
prepare long-term strategies to achieve all goals and evaluate performance of funded programs and assist in developing a comprehensive
knowledge of cybersecurity organizations that could collaborate or cooperate with UCCS CSI efforts. This position requires the ability to
operate independently and encourages creative approaches to the ever-growing and changing area of cybersecurity.

What We Offer:
Salary Range: Generally starting at: $50,642
This position is dependent on the availability of external
grant funding. Funding is currently expected to last 1 year.
Tentative Search Timeline:
- The potential dates for
interviews with the search committee will be the week of 12/14/2020.
- The potential dates for interviews with the supervisor and
appointing authority will be the week of 1/4/2021.
- The potential employee start date is 2/1/2021.
Currently, this position
can work remotely as directed by the Director of cybersecurity Programs and will therefore need remote access to the internet for telework.

Minimum Requirements :
- A Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree
and two years experience in a cybersecurity field.
- Three years experience with budget, personnel, and program management.
- Four years of experience in a cybersecurity field may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
Candidates must still have the additional three years of specific experience.
Awareness of cybersecurity education programs (including K-12, collegiate and/or training).
- Demonstrated familiarity with NICE
Cybersecurity Framework and the DHS/NSA Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) in cybersecurity program.
- Experience with data
collection and analysis.
