THOMAS JEFFERSON SCHOOL OF LAW’s online LL.M. program is looking for an adjunct faculty member to create the curriculum and teach an online
course in Asset Management Regulatory Overview. You must have experience
with the following:

  • Ethical and professional standards and conduct
  • Corporate
    governance
  • Cybersecurity frameworks and issues
  • Governance
    models
  • Investors
  • ESG factors

This is a
remote position. You must have a J.D. degree, have at least five years of asset management experience, and be able to start immediately and
continue until March 1, 2021. Prior teaching experience is recommended but not required. Additional course teaching opportunities may be
available.

You will have the assistance of an Instructional Designer but your academic responsibilities will
include:

  • Exhibiting teaching excellence
  • Writing effective learning objectives
  • Creating assessments
    that align with objectives
  • Creating rubrics that align with the objectives and assessments
  • Recording lectures
  • Grading students’ coursework
  • Holding online meetings
  • Initiating and moderating online forums
  • Replying, daily,
    to emails and requests from within the course
  • Other duties as assigned

In order to be successful in this
role, you must be able to:

  • Adhere to a strict deliverable schedule
  • Respond to requests within one day
  • Have reliable internet service
  • Hold synchronous online sessions
  • Work with the Instructional Designer to create
    engaging material.
