Job Purpose

Teach undergraduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Teach undergraduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree and a graduate degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field by the start date of employment. Potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate level. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to teach online.

Preferred Qualifications

An earned doctorate or completion of all coursework for a doctorate in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field by the start date of employment; teaching experience or significant industrial experience; demonstrated potential for teaching a variety of courses in electrical engineering; excellent communication and writing skills; all areas of expertise in electrical engineering will be considered, with a preference given to candidates with teaching experience or expertise in topics including, but not limited to, signal processing and control systems. Commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.

Salary
Commensurate with education and experience. Full-time, nine month, non-tenure-track position to begin August 2021. Three year contract renewable based on satisfactory performance review, needs of the department, and future funding.
