Provide complete oversight of cyber forensics
laboratory operations, management, maintenance, and quality control and standards. Set up computer software applications to laboratory
specifications; perform routine maintenance and repair on computer and technology equipment. Maintain accreditation standards for managing
cyber forensic labs. Teach one course each semester, total 2 courses per year in the undergrad or graduate Cyber Forensics Programs.
Participate with cyber forensic faculty in research studies which involve systematic, critical, and intensive investigation necessary for
the development of experimental processes.

Duties include:

Provide complete oversight of the cyber
forensic laboratories’ operations, management, maintenance, and quality control and standards. Experience processing, handling, and
analyzing digital evidence and materials; maintaining, troubleshooting, installing, testing, and repairing digital forensic software and
hardware systems.

Working with digital forensic software and technology – performing/operating complex analysis using digital
technology for use in cyber forensics. Participate with forensic faculty in research studies which involve systematic, critical, and
intensive investigation necessary for the development of experimental processes. Follow security protocols for entering and exiting labs,
student passwords and access to systems.

Set up computer software applications to laboratory specifications; perform routine
maintenance and repair on technology equipment, instruments, and computers. Provide training to faculty and students as needed. Supervise
lab assistant and provide support to faculty and students. Monitor and ensure that all instrumentation, computers, and lab equipment are in
operational order and calibrated to standard. Maintain forensic lab accreditation standards for managing cyber forensic labs.

Teach
one course per semester, two per year in undergrad or graduate cyber forensics programs.

Requires flexibility to support both day and
evening teaching schedule

Required Qualifications

Education:  Bachelor of
Science degree or advanced degree in appropriate field (i.e. Cyber forensics, Digital Forensics, Cyber Investigations, computer information
systems)

Experience: Three years of experience working with Encase, Forensic Digital Toolkit as well as
other forensic software in an applied setting, with 1-2 years of experience managing Cyber forensic laboratory.

Preferred
Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in appropriate field (i.e. Cyber Forensics,
Digital Forensics, Cyber Investigations, computer information systems)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the terminology, principles and analytical techniques used in digital forensic laboratories. Hands-on professional level
experience with Digital Forensics to include evidence handling and tracking, forensic imaging and analysis of computers, servers, and other
technology equipment. Skill in the use of computer technology and equipment; installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and
maintaining systems. Provide complete oversight of cyber forensics laboratory operations, management, maintenance, and quality control and
standards. Set up computer software applications to laboratory specifications; perform routine maintenance and repair on computer and
