Title of Position: Automotive Instructor
Bargaining Unit / Salary Range: Salary and Benefits commensurate
with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Faculty Unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES: CMCC is seeking one
full-time faculty member to teach in the Automotive Technology / Ford ASSET program. The instructor must be prepared to teach a combination
of day and evening classes to include a minimum 25 contact hours each semester of classroom and practicum work and supervision of
associate-degree students in a variety of shop and classroom settings. Travel would be necessary to secure and maintain some certifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate Degree
  • Recent experience working in the automotive
    trade
  • Ability and willingness to earn and maintain certifications to include: ASE Master Certification and Advanced Engine
    Performance Certification (L1), Ford Senior Master Certification, Subaru Level 2 Technician Certification, Toyota Technician
    Certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Teaching experience
  • Fluency
    in Ford programs including diagnostic tools and information systems
  • ASE Master Certification and Advanced Engine Performance
    Certification (L1)
  • Manufacture Master Certification(s)
  • State Inspection and 609 Refrigerant Handling
    License
  • Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office Suite
