Title of Position: Automotive Instructor
Bargaining Unit / Salary Range: Salary and Benefits commensurate
with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Faculty Unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES: CMCC is seeking one
full-time faculty member to teach in the Automotive Technology / Ford ASSET program. The instructor must be prepared to teach a combination
of day and evening classes to include a minimum 25 contact hours each semester of classroom and practicum work and supervision of
associate-degree students in a variety of shop and classroom settings. Travel would be necessary to secure and maintain some certifications.
- Associate Degree
- Recent experience working in the automotive
- Ability and willingness to earn and maintain certifications to include: ASE Master Certification and Advanced Engine
Performance Certification (L1), Ford Senior Master Certification, Subaru Level 2 Technician Certification, Toyota Technician
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Teaching experience
in Ford programs including diagnostic tools and information systems
- ASE Master Certification and Advanced Engine Performance
- Manufacture Master Certification(s)
- State Inspection and 609 Refrigerant Handling
- Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office Suite
