for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Law and Assistant Director of Trial Advocacy in Cumberland’s highly ranked
advocacy program. The non-tenure-track position is a 9-month appointment that will begin in August 2021.
The successful candidate
will be expected to teach Advanced Skills in Trial Advocacy and other courses; participate in trial team selection, training, and coaching;
handle administrative functions relating to the trial advocacy program and curriculum; advise the student-run Cumberland Trial Advocacy
Board and provide guidance and training for the intramural competitions it oversees; and assist with marketing fundraising for the trial
advocacy program. The candidate will be supervised by and will work with the Director of Advocacy Programs to develop and enhance the

degree. They also must exhibit strong teaching skills. Preferred candidates will have experience in private practice, government, or public
service. Prior teaching experience is advantageous but not required. A commitment to academic excellence and the ability to work effectively
