The Department of Accountancy, Business, and Economics invites applications
for an Assistant Professor of Finance. This is a non-tenure track position that will begin August 2021. The successful candidate will teach
undergraduate finance courses including a 4/4 teaching load, advising students, college service and scholarship.
Coursework may include: Managerial Finance, Economics of Money and Banking, Financial Markets and Institutions,
Investment and Securities Analysis, International Financial Management, Advanced Managerial Finance, and/or Entrepreneurial Finance.
Preference will be given to applicants with an earned Ph.D. in finance, previous teaching, and corporate finance experience. It is expected
that the successful candidate will maintain a commitment to excellence in teaching, diversity, scholarship, and service as defined by Adrian
- Master’s Degree in Finance AND 10+ years relevant work
- Ph.D. in Finance
- Preference will be given to candidates with
previous teaching experience teaching at the college level, and to those with experience in the industry.
