Duties and Responsibilities
The new faculty member will
teach required and elective courses in the undergraduate and graduate financial accounting and business programs, advise students, conduct
scholarly research, and provide college and university service and engagement. A normal teaching load is 6-9 credit hours per semester.
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
- Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree with
emphasis in Accounting or a closely related field by start date.
- Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in financial
accounting. Preference will be provided to candidates who are also able to teach in tax, financial, or governmental accounting.
