POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, to work
on cutting-edge battery and energy storage research as part of an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative team of scientists and
engineers from a wide array of disciplines in the laboratory of Professor Angela M. Belcher. Will be responsible for
enhancing the Belcher lab’s capabilities in energy storage technology; overseeing synthesis, device assembly, and troubleshooting;
communicating results to the scientific community through publications and presentations; and supervising undergraduate students and
laboratory technicians. Projects are expected to include bio-mediated synthesis of battery materials and work on novel device architectures.

REQUIRED: a Ph.D. degree in chemistry, materials science and engineering,
chemical engineering, biological engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field; experience with electrochemistry, synthesis, and
device assembly; strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe
work environment, contribute in a multidisciplinary team setting, prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, and
execute detailed technical protocols meticulously. Supervisory experience is preferred. Candidate selection will be made through evaluation
of the quality of publications in areas relevant to the posted research requirements, record of accomplishments entered into the candidate’s
CV, descriptions of research and educational experiences provided in application material, and the strength of professional references.
