Position Summary: The Aviation Management Program in the College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) at Southern Illinois
University Carbondale seeks qualified applicants for an Assistant Lecturer position. This is a part-time, term, non-tenure track faculty
appointment within Aviation Management’s extended campus program. Courses are held at extended-campus location(s) across the United
States.

Duties and Responsibilities: To teach Fiscal Aspect of Aviation Management and one or more of the following
courses: Aviation Management Writing and Communication, Aviation Industry Regulation, Airline Management, Legal Aspects of Aviation,
Aviation Maintenance Management, Aviation Safety Management, Aviation Industry Career Development, and writing intensive Independent Study
classes. To engage in other assignments as determined by the chair of the department.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in an academic area appropriate to the course(s) being taught; postsecondary teaching experience as lead instructor
responsible for the course; military training and/or related civilian aviation industry experience; ability to travel to specified location
to teach specified course(s).
