The School of Accounting at the
University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) invites applications for a tenure-track position as an assistant professor in accounting with
anticipated start date in August 2021. The School of Accounting’s AACSB supplemental accounting accreditation and IMA Endorsement for Higher
Education reflect high quality and rigorous undergraduate and Master of Accounting programs. Student-centered accounting faculty employ
innovative learning experiences and engage with professionals to prepare students for diverse accounting careers.
- PhD in accounting (ABDs considered), graduate degree in taxation, or combination of graduate degrees
in law and accounting;
- evidence of the potential for teaching excellence in accounting;
- clearly defined research agenda and
evidence of interest in and ability to conduct high-quality research. Teaching interests in any area of accounting will be
