Department of Accounting, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2021.

Experienced assistant professors are encouraged to apply. Candidates in all areas of accounting research and teaching interest will be considered, especially those with a teaching/research emphasis in auditing and/or financial accounting.
Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Participation in the Ph.D. program will be part of the faculty member’s responsibilities.
Candidates must have completed or nearly completed a doctoral degree in accounting, exhibit potential for publishing in top academic journals, and provide evidence of effective teaching. Professional certification is desirable. Participation in the Ph.D. program will be part of the faculty member’s responsibilities.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.

The college is designated as one of the nation’s most outstanding business schools by The Princeton Review and ranked by U. S. News and World Report. The Department of Accounting offers an undergraduate accounting major and minor, a Master of Science in Accounting and a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, as well as accounting courses in the MBA programs.
