The new Dale E. and Sarah Ann Fowler School of Engineering at Chapman University invites
applications for senior-level positions in the areas of computer science, computer engineering, and electrical engineering at the rank of
associate or full professor with tenure.

Opened in the fall of 2019, the Dale E. and Sarah Ann Fowler School of
Engineering offers undergraduate degree programs in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering. An
undergraduate program in Computer Engineering began in 2020 and Electrical Engineering is expected to begin in 2021. Fowler Engineering is

- A Ph.D. in computer science,
computer engineering, computational science, data science, software engineering, or electrical engineering is required, along with academic
experience commensurate with the rank of appointment.
- Whereas we welcome applicants from all disciplines in these fields, preference
will be given to candidates with backgrounds and research interests in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, computer
networks, robotics, hardware design, electronics and circuits, simulation, or related areas.
- Applicants considered for the rank of
associate or full professor with tenure are expected to demonstrate a substantial history of excellence in teaching and scholarship, as
evidenced by peer-reviewed publications, external funding, student mentorship, and service to the engineering
Duties include establishing an impactful research program in the candidate’s
field, teaching, student mentorship, and service to the university and the candidate’s intellectual community.
