The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at New York
Institute of Technology is looking for an Adjunct Professor who are interested in teaching “Biomedical Signals and Systems”. This is a
graduate course, which covers topics such as The theory and application of linear time-invariant (LTI) systems is explored, with a focus on
the description and analysis of biomedical signals and systems. Topics include linear, time-invariant (LTI) systems, frequency (Fourier)
analysis: response of LTI systems to sinusoids, systems and transforms, LTI filters, and Discrete-time signals and systems. Applications
include signals and noise, processing of the physiological signals (ECG, EEG, etc.), mathematics of imaging and derivation of useful
physiological parameters from input signals. The qualified instructors should have:
- A PhD in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience either in industry or academia in the related field.
- Excellent communication skills, and be familiar
with online and hybrid remote instruction.
