Depending on the position you applied to (Full-Time or

  • Full-Time compensation is based on
    qualifications, experience and internal equity in addition to a generous benefits package. Listed is the minimum
    starting annual salar

  • Part-Time
    Hourly compensation has a set rate of pay.
  • Part-Time Faculty (Faculty
    Load and Compensation) in accordance with Aims Community College pay schedule.

Job
Duties:

  1. Provide instruction covering industrial technology and advanced manufacturing topics including process technology,
    automation, PLCs, instrumentation, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance in accordance with industry standards and department
    practices.
  2. Supervise students to ensure the safe and proper use of the facility, equipment, and supplies.
  3. Evaluate student
    work and assign grades.
  4. Assist full-time faculty with assessment of learning.
  5. Utilize effective verbal and written
    communications skills.
  6. Demonstrate continuous commitment to quality.
  7. Establish and maintain positive and professional
    relationships with students, faculty, staff, and administration.
  8. Work as a team member with a genuine spirit of cooperation and
    flexibility.
  9. Must be self-directed and self-motivated.
  10. Implement department, division, and institutional goals as
    assigned.
  11. Demonstrate a willingness to embrace and apply the provisions of the College’s mission statement, purpose, philosophy,
    and commitment to diversity.
  12. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Industrial Technology Department Chair or
    Academic Dean.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Qualify for a full-time Colorado Career and Technical
    Education credential in Industrial Technology.
  2. Have an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Industrial Technology or related
    field.
  3. Minimum of 4,000 hours of related work experience required.
