Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering is looking for a calendar year PostDoc Associate for biosensor characterization and embedded system design. Experience in microfabrication and nanofabrication of biosensors and electrical and electrochemical characterization of the platforms is preferred. This position is grant-funded and reports directly to Mehdi Javanmard, Associate Professor.

Minimum Education and Experience

Ph.D Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related fields

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Signal Processing
  • Microfabrication and Nanofabrication
  • Electrochemical characterization
  • Electrical Impedance characterization and modeling

Equipment Utilized

Lithography, potentiostat, lock-in-amplifier, syringe pumps, etching, atomic layer deposition, electron beam evaporation

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment for fabricating and characterizing devices.
