Job Description:

This position will support research on biomedical
ultrasound and image processing. The candidate will have excellent collaborative opportunities with a group of multidisciplinary researchers
including clinical collaborators. Research interactions will take place within the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science
together with clinical departments at the nearby University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UT Southwestern).


Ph.D in a related field.

Preferred Education and Experience:

The ideal
candidate should have a strong background and interest in fields such as:

  • ultrasound contrast agent development and molecular
  • ultrasound/photoacoustic imaging and instrumentation
  • machine learning using medical images
  • technology implementation in both laboratory and clinical environments.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in bioengineering,
computer science, electrical engineering, medical physics or a closely related field.
