Depending on the position you applied to (Full-Time or Part-Time), compensation listed
below is as follows:

  • Full-Time compensation is based on qualifications, experience and internal
    equity in addition to a generous benefits package. Listed is the minimum starting annual salary
    which, for a non-exempt position, would be paid on an hourly basis.
  • Part-Time Hourly compensation
    has a set rate of pay.
  • Part-Time Faculty (Faculty Load and Compensation) in accordance with Aims
    Community College pay schedule.

Job Duties:
Candidates are sought to form a hiring pool for
part-time term positions in Automotive Service Technology (Please list specific area in cover letter and resume); teaching assignments may
include a variety of courses in Automotive Service Technology depending on the candidate’s area of expertise.

Work Hours: Teach
day and/or evening classes at Windsor campus and/or assigned other locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
  2. AAS degree or equivalent 2 years of current work experience
    within ASE Certified Shop or equivalent within the automotive discipline.
  3. Ability to obtain AAS degree.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous College teaching experience is an asset but is not required.
